Yes, you can have both, the same way that I can spend all my money to buy myself all the waffles in a 10-mile radius.
But it’s also shit expensive. And economically catastrophic.

@AaronMk
Why are you demanding billionaires hoard their money? If anything we should be encouraging heirs to blow their daddy’s money on extravagant junk like multiple yachts. All the money can go out of the family’s pocket and back into the economy.
@AaronMk
Trickle down isn’t about encouraging spending; it’s about letting big businesses earn more money and maybe the little guys earning more with an increased economy. Increased spending is a direct flow of money away from billionaires; every yacht bought requires hiring more people to clean and maintain it. Also, I would have thought you’d be against the US invading smaller countries in pursuit of money…
Ken Kriz, an economist at Wichita State University who has studied Brownback’s tax cuts, predicted in 2014 that the state would not meet Brownback’s campaign goal.“I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so,” Kriz said Friday. “It’s further evidence that the current set of policies is not having the desired effect.”
@AaronMk
You didn’t get what I was saying; I wasn’t advocating for trickle down economics. I was only saying we should encourage wealthy heirs to waste all their inheritance through overspending to bring it back into the economy. Your idea for the Caymans reminds me of when the US parked some warships off Japan and asked them to open trade. If the Cayman Islands refused to return the money, would you be okay with them getting bombed?
