I get my haircut every January, March, May, July, September and November.

I haven’t had a haircut for over a year. The last time I got it cut before now was at a hairstylist, who botched it to the point of it looking like late ‘70s, Moment by Moment-era John Travolta.
 
My mom finally convinced me to let her cut it again, but I honestly don’t think it’s turning out as well as whe’d hoped it would.

Obviously I don’t know if this would work for you, but a 6 on the sides 8 on top comb over is a universal look.

Honestly, I don’t think it would. I can’t really fully express myself without long hair to flop around while I rock out.
