Pink Diamond’s backstory gets a whole lot sadder when you realize that both Spinel and Pearl are made to replace Pink Pearl; Spinel as the indestructible playmate that Pink wouldn’t accidentally damage, and Pearl as the no-nonsense secretary so that Pink would do her job. Two halves of Pink Pearl.

A Gem OC I made named Everstone:  
Everstone, aka Multigem, is a Gem introduced in the Super Pony Squad Season Finale of the Era of Wrath season after the demise of Omni-Diamomd Rampage. After defeating him, the gem that formed after the defeat combined all known elements and properties of other gems to form Everstone. At first, Everstone was only physical and magical features of the gems that were fused to make her. After the season premiere of Era of Pride called “The Cleansing Within”, Everstone was able to get the last bit of corrupted out of her.
 
During the episode titled “Trusting an Old Foe”, Everstone gains full inner power of herself after seeing Re-formed Rampage (Also known as Dr. Lusenea) being ripped apart by Zenundred. This inner power transformed her Newly Formed form into that of a true and original formed gem, no longer having the remnants of other gems on her. Changing her into her Fully Re-formed version. Her old Weapons being just combined versions of the gems she was fused with now her new Weapons are a 3-Forked Claw Knuckle Brace and a modified version of one of Garnet’s fists with strong Lazer shooting crystals fingers.

She was originally going to named Black Star Diospide but I didn’t think that’d rolled of the tongue said multiple times.

The fact that it has ‘appearance modifiers’ makes sense, and perhaps reveals why Pearl herself isn’t big on transformations.

So…. why in the world Eyeball and Aquamarine still hate Steven? Are they Award that Steven is the reborn Pink Diamond? Are they awared that the Diamonds are reformed? And are they awared that with no others antagonists left around they’re basically alone against the entire galaxy? What they do expect to do by themself? Not a fan of the direction they took with these two. I would have preferred something like what they did with Jasper instead…

I’m not really surprised that some are like that. In the new order, those with status and a lot of underlings are now brought down to a much more mundane level (Aquamarine was an elite, remember.) Others… well, the whole Little Homeworld thing has been all about gems’ lives having revolved around their place in the order and many now not knowing what to do. If your life sucked, then yay, freedom! If it didn’t, now you’re lost and confused.
 
So yeah. It’s no surprise that not everyone is happy with their lot in life, or the guy who made it happen, now.
