Steven Universe

SU has been going on for like 5 years and has 144 episodes under its belt. MLP for like 8 years and 173 episodes.
 
Granted that’s not counting specials or movies on either nor EQG for MLP. And SU has 11 minute long episodes vs MLP’s 22.

SU will have to be twice of MLP’s in order to break even. And that’s not even being fair since I’m not including movies and such.

It’s also worth noting that MLP actually has full seasons. I don’t understand what issue Cartoon Network has with SU, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s essentially the Brock Lesnar of Cartoon Network.

It was the most recent one to air on TV, but a couple more (“Pool Hopping” and “Letters to Lars”) were released on the CN app (along with “Your Mother and Mine” and “The Big Show”) at the end of March, and you should be able to find them online somewhere.

So there’s supped to be more in-between? Jungle Moon and Big Show?
 
I don’t have the App and only watched an episode once illegally. (That I remember)

Yeah, Your Mother and Mine came before The Big Show.
 
Not that big a deal if you watch them out of order in this case, but yeah there’s another episode that’s aired.

Also, I agree. Bismuth might’ve been extreme, but I believe she might mellow down upon her second appearance.

I kinda want Lapis to run into Bismuth and realize she’s not mad mid-sentence.

good point i hadn;t thought of that actually…

Thinking further I wonder if there’s some giant space oyster that the Diamonds use to farm pearls. Like feed them some transparent silicon circuit board and the “mother of pearl” would coat it and nourish it until it becomes large enough to serve.

Again, due to the rarity of them IRL, I have a headcanon that natural pearls are essentially the Titans to the Diamonds’ Greek Pantheon, or like kaiju with magical powers.

I always figured Nacres/Mother of Pearls were like matrons at etiquette houses, training Pearls in the skills they would need to serve their created purposes.
