If we assume Rose herself isn’t special among her fellow Rose Quartz, maybe the troop itself is made for conquering planets with large amounts of organic life. Assuming all the RQs have the same abilities, then they have control over plant life, an ability that would be a god-send for planets covered in flora, Pink Lion also implies some abilities over the fauna, but we don’t know anything beyond being able to create hybrids.
Speaking of plants, could you imagine the gems having to make secret missions back to Earth to get the plants the early zoomans wanted. Some poor Amethyst bringing bags of grass and asking them, “Are these trees!?”, and being forced to go back by Holly Blue/Blue Diamond.

No really, other then Lion being Rose’s we know nothing of the connection between them, Lion my be as much from an ability of hers as the other CGs are.
Also the only plant we really know Rose to be connected with, not Steven, was the magic moss and well..

Implification does not need citation, considering that Lion has Roses stuff in it, and Rose had a small pride with her, it is currently safe to assume that Lion and Rose are connected in some way, sure a twist could come by, but thinking of hypothetical twists can be head-ache inducing.
The Magic Moss does have a gem in the center of its flowers, but only its flowers, no such gems were seen in the moss before blooming, the moss is either, A. The weirdest corruption yet. or B. A hybrid between plant life and Gems. A is unlikely at the moment, but anything’s possible, and B points to the idea that Rose at least is able to hybridize organic life and Gems.
This can all easily be disproved by the show with new developments, I’m just taking observations I’ve made and making a conclusion.

And no, it really didn’t imply that Rose had a kind of power over them, more that she can make a kind of coonetion with them, not the same thing.
Lion is an enigma, we have no real idea if Rose had anything to do with how he came about or even if the form we see is his true form(see the theory of him being a part of Pink Diamond and such), so she may have no kind of power over him.
And the Magic Moss is also somthing we really no next to nothing about other then what we see, so again, she may not of had any actual power over it.

I know the topic came up before and I said how unless it was Steven just thinking/dreaming about what the future might be like, a time skip is somthing SU does not need in the slightest unless it’s as a kind of epilogue.

Hell no. More than likely it’s gonna be either Ruby or Sapphire to take Garnet off the board and ratchet up the tension; who will step up and lead without Garnet? CAN anyone step up and lead? Garnet is more or less the team safety net now; removing her ramps up what might go wrong next.
Plus, it’d be interesting to see Sapphire grieve.
