I think one of the few things that nobody has been requesting to see restored from the old timeline is the infamous Jedi Prince series of books.

Just how hilariously bad it was. Also, there were so many things that made it non-canon even in the old expanded universe.

I never read Jedi Prince, I know they are kinda rare and expansive, kinda like Galaxy of Fear, and Junior Jedi Knights. But if I remember correctly, Jedi Prince was the one with the Imperial posing as Palaptines son and rightful ruler of the galaxy, while holding his real son, (a deformed man with 3 eyes,) as a prisoner. And I think he had a token from Darth Vader, his glove, but here I might mix up things.

I actually enjoyed those books when they first came out.

Some things obviously didn’t exactly fit in canon though, like Han and Leia getting married much earlier then they were supposed to.

Yeah, but at the time 10 year old me didn’t even know what “canon” meant, much less care how a story fit with it.

I wonder if it’s possible that Tash arranda eventually joined Luke’s Jedi academy in the old expanded universe.

If literally anything from the Jedi Academy series happens to be canon, I’d be happy.

Splinter of the Mind’s eye is probably the most outdated book from the old timeline. While somethings like the Kaiburr crystals have been kept in both timelines, other things have not.

Ahsoka and Luke never met did they?

You know what we should’ve had as a short story or one-shot comic yesterday? Luke Skywalker interacting with Captain Rex, since it’s been confirmed he was part of the Rebel strike team on Endor.

Again, rumors that Disney has to pay George Lucas royalties are just that: RUMORS. So take it with some salt.

Iger’s Disney doesn’t care much (if at all) about the lore and continuity of Star Wars. They just want money and attention regardless of the quality. Oh, and it wasn’t George Lucas who made Kathleen the CEO of Lucasfilm. It was Robert Iger from what I can tell that promoted her. Pablo Hidalgo has been shown on twitter to block people who follow certain others for some reason. Its probably because he wants to stay in Disney’s good grace. Oh, and I don’t really care for how much people like MeanLucario and Mikey hate or dislike the prequel films. Say what you want about it not being on the same level as the OT(which is admittedly true in many areas for sure) but even Phantom Menace is nowhere near as bad as cinematic atrocities like Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Dating Movie, TF: Age of extinction, Reefer Madness, Freddy Got Fingered, and David Lynch’s Dune.

I think Disney is trying it’s best. Keep in mind that the old Expanded universe was a lot more confusing at times.
