Soon you will have to pay to play online for Switch games, the only saving grace is it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be that expensive but still. Especially considering that’s never really been a thing in the past for Nintendo games to have to pay a membership fee or whatever.

Went to the Nintendo Mall Tour with my sister.
There were 4 switches with Splatoon 2, and since online wasn’t available, we did a two-person Salmon Run.
Marooner’s Bay, 100% Profreshional difficulty.
One of the staff went to us and said “That’s 100%! You ain’t gonna survive with just the two of you!”
We both said “It’s fine, don’t worry about it.” because being dismissive is how we generally handle everything.
She picked N-Zap, I picked Dualies. I got splashdown, she got jetpack.
It’s easy because we can communicate to each other and we can see what the other one is doing and we can relay info on where stuff is, what we plan to do, ect.
It’s hard because it’s still a regular game of Salmon Run, you just have a smaller quota. You’re still gonna get a shit load of bosses coming, and if you die, there is only one person that could possibly save you, and it is hell to survive on your own.
Eventually, we get to wave 3, hit the short quota, and all we have to do is survive.
Staff guy comes back after watching a MK8 Deluxe race. There are only 10 seconds left and I’m dead. Sister is being chased by two Steel Eels.
“So what difficulty is that?”
“100%,” we both say as my sister throws a bomb to revive me. She is on the brink of death before the timer hits 0, but we made it.
“How many tries did that take?”
“Oh that was our second try.”
