Not to mention the UK got episodes much earlier than the US did for both of those shows, and many others.

I guess like the American comics/cartoons they had to make up alot of new characters, because just having a comic/manga about Sonic & Eggman wouldn’t be very interesting.
 
The fat hedgehog kid, wearing a play indian feather would be considered soooooo un-P.C. nowadays. lol  
Also, isn’t that manga also where Amy Rose originated from?

By how many people watch the show.  
For example: the Super Bowl. As far as I know, americans care so much about the rating, so to make it way more popular they decide to transmit it in other countries for free.
 
In the case of Sonic Boom, CN decided to air the show in a very limited schedule were most of the people is sleeping, so the ratings were super low. As far as I know from the how USA Cartoon Network works, everything that doesnt work in the channel it is send to Boomerand to die.
 
TTG is “popular” because CN “forcefully” transmits the show almost 24 hours per day, every day of the week, and messing up other shows to become popular too.

A reminder that Amy is 8-12 years old, making her one of the younger characters in the series. She was aged up using unexplained noodly magic mumbo jumbo (it was just a redesign, really) and we’ll just leave it at that.
 
Though, this isn’t really the same for all media. Most of them are just her growing up normally, while Sonic is the one whose age changes.

That was only in the comic though, the games never really explained how the characters all got new looks, and such.

Yeah, I kinda hate that trend of Nick, CN, and Disney Channel only showing marathons of their top 2 or 3 most popular shows, and barely giving any new ones a chance.

Heh, the comics makes it kinda bizarre.  
She turns older after wishing it from the Ring of the Acorns, because she wanted to join the Freedom Fighters that much. Also, the power of the Ring of Acorns granted her the power to summon her Hammer. But after all of this, she was rejected because she still had the mind of a 8 year old girl.

She did finally get in actually after a li’l while. Kinda unfair they wouldn’t let her in, seeing as they let Tails in the Freedom Fighters, and he was almost as young as she was.
 
I suppose that was a li’l silly, but sense Amy was a recurring character in the comics, they had to age her up when Sonic Adventure came out.

They did explain why Tails got in, as he had more experience than she did and thus is far more reliable. In fact, Amy got mad and did use Tails as an example.

Sonic Boom. Check out most episodes where Team Sonic got criticized rather than thanked whenever they saved the village from Eggman’s routine attacks.

That might be why most people submit their content to Netflix or Amazon in recent years. Don’t have to worry about time slots on a streaming service

Hah, Sonic Boom cartoon. It’s like the best thing about Sonic for the past half a decade.

What about “Sonic Mania Plus?”  
Though, I actually did enjoy the Sonic Boom show. Though, it feels more like a Sonic parody then a legit Sonic series. Still, at least it treated Metal Sonic & Shadow seriously.

I don’t think they were always like that, the show’s less mean spirited then SpongeBob, and other shows frankly.

Indeed, it’s no wonder people prefer that over cable nowadays. Less expensive too.

Remember the episode where the whole village, including his teammates, turned against Sonic because he called a random character “just a guy”, and he was forced to endure sensitivity training, then yelled at again because he brought “a guy” to a fight, thereby putting him back to sensitivity training?

I remember that, I don’t think it was meant to be taken that seriously, and it was kinda poking fun at people who get offended by mere words, and things like political-correctness-gone-mad, and such.

After reading the comics for a little bit yesterday I learned that the age of majority in Sonic Archie is 16.
 
Also, there is a fan proyect out there, about reanimating what must be the 5 episode of the anime of Sonic X

Nice! I was expecting a Reanimate project being made towards Sonic X eventually but I don’t know about episode 5 being the best choice.

I think it was a good choice as it’s one of my favorite episodes of “Sonic X,” I guess I’m a sucker for “Sonic VS Knuckles.” Plus, Amy does something hilarious in it, and I’m curious how that’ll be animated.
