Probably dead. Raven was able to easily survive being frozen solid, fellow Maiden Cinder can too.
 
And pushing someone off a cliff is a time-honored tradition when you want to “kill” a character, but you want to leave yourself a backdoor just in case you want to bring them back sometime.
 
I’m holding on to my “Cinder’s body is (even more) broken, especially after being frozen/shattered, but Salem will put her head into a Grimm body, thus keeping her ‘alive’” theory.
 
You remember Dr. Baxter Stockman from the TMNT animated series? His body was torn away bit by bit until he was literally just a head attached to a robotic suit of armor. That’s what I’m thinking will happen to Cinder.

Jokes aside though, I remembered something: the logo for Haven Academy is a lantern. So, does that mean the logos for each Huntsman Academy is actually a picture of their Relic?

Anime takes it up to the extreme sometimes. I remember someone getting burned badly, and then falling down a cliff while breaking in half on the way down, only to come back alive and just heavily burnt.

I’m really looking forward to how Tai will react to Raven comimg back to the family house on Patch. I’m thinking he’s the only one whose opinion Raven truly cares about, especially after hearing from Yang that he still loved her, even after she left without explanation.
