You know, Vernal died really easily. I mean, I know that getting stabbed through the stomach is often bad. But Weiss is alive (with the help of Jaune) and crazy ass Hazel too. Her surviving that long isn’t surprising, as a normal person in real life could probably last a bit longer.
 
Also, I just want Yang to be a Maiden, probably from her mom. And I want Cinder to be dead too. Because surviving that would feel real bullshit.

I fully understand your concern about a twist, but I think the magic flames being extinguished as she fell was symbolic of her death. Pretty sure we have a new Fall, and as I said before, my bet’s on Emerald. But only time will tell, I suppose. I hope this volume’s finale is longer than the other episodes, as has been the case in the past.

I just hope this season/volume ends even somewhat on a satisfying note; I’ve had enough dissapointments in my forms of entretainment (certain movie franchises, Cartoon Network’s management, WWE’s booking and one of my favorites possibly having to retire IRL at a young age, etc).
 
And I don’t know who annoys me more out of dissapointment in their wasted potential due to poor writing: Adam Taurus or Kylo Ren. At this point, simply plugging in Prince Zuko (ATLA), Kuvira (LOK) or a close expy of either would be more satisfying.

I hope so too. At this point, the heroes need a truly decisive victory. Not something nullified by later events, not something the villains can somehow twist to their advantage, but something that stops Salem’s plans dead in their tracks.
 
It’s kind of wishful thinking, but a guy can hope.

I remember some RWBY anti-fan was ranting and raving about how he was going to pirate the game for having the audacity to include something he didn’t like. I didn’t pay any mind to it at the time, but with this recent revelation, that line of thinking may be a bit more justified.
