Also I still find it amusing that Candice wears such a short skirt despite living in Snowpoint City and having an Ice-type Gym. I’m pretty sure they even lampshaded that in the game.

I remember that in Fire Red I thought Lorelei was a replacement for Prima for some reason.

The explanation 4Kids gave for changing Lorelei’s name to Prima in their dub was to match the lip flaps of her Japanese name “Kanna” (two syllables rather than Lorelei’s three), but I don’t buy that for a second considering that there are so many other characters in the anime whose dub names don’t match the Japanese lip-flaps at all most of the time. Not only that but Pokemon Puzzle League still called her Lorelei.

I know that but, her hair was purple in the anime and it’s red in the game. Also, I forgot she has glasses.

spanish dubs of anime and games very often change name of characters
 
for example, crasher wave gets renamed as “manatí the destroyer” in the game dubs

The funniest part about that change is that it STILL ends up sounding dirty even if you don’t already know that the Celadon Gym only has female trainers.

I got a lot of prehistoric things I want to make fakemon for. which actually works out for my Fossil fan type. We got pure Fossil, Fossil/Water, Fossil/Flying, Fossil/Bug, Fossil/Grass, Fossil/Steel, Fossil/Dragon and Fossil/Ice allready.
 
Let’s see Wooly Rino would be Normal/Fossil, Smilodon could be Fossil/Dark, Deinonychus could be Fighting/Fossil, Gorgonopsid could be Fossil/Poison.
 
Not all Fossil types would be ancient my Tar pit Ghost/Fossil for example.
