Yeah, in Moon, the Castform was actually a nuisance for me because of Sunny Day and me lacking fire types to capitalize on that so it was spamming fire moves while Lurantis got one-turn Solar Blades.
I think, comparing the Akala totem battles in USUM to Sun and Moon in terms of difficulty, I’d say water is relatively the same (it was pretty easy for me both times so it’s hard for me to compare), fire is harder, and grass was definitely easier for me. Although, though I say grass was easier, I’m still salty about one casualty.
I didn’t make it a point to avoid fighting the optional Pokemon since I was fairly confident in my team. So when I battled Sudowoodo, I immediately switched into my Wishiwashi and used Brine. Sudowoodo had Sturdy, so it lived on 1 HP so I think, “No big deal, I’ll get it next turn… WAIT WHY DOES THIS THING KNOW WOOD HAMMER!?” RIP Anchovy, we hardly knew ye.
