Well, right now you can still train your pokemon, breed them and port your mons into new games (if you have any Gen V game), but if you don’t have BW/B2W2 you can only do the first two things, which you can do in any game, and people gets bored after that part. I haven’t played XY in like a month.

- Because buying the remakes now a days is difficult. Getting non-pirated copies of HGSS is VERY hard. They’re also very expensive considering they’re in high demand for them but a low supply of them. I’ve seen copies online that come up to anywhere around $80 to over hundreds of dollars. Would you rather pay tons of money on a game that could be fake (and possibly broken when you play it) or would you rather play a similar game for just $10?
Kinda this and because I can. Don’t really care about the WIFI and trading part, honestly.

The games are very rare and expensive in most corners. This makes selling cheap counterfits common too because so many people want it. There’s a lot of people who buy a copy of HGSS online only to find it’s a bootleg when the game corrupts easily, won’t save, or won’t allow trading.

Damn, I feel thankful I still have mine complete functional, with the pokewalker in its original wrapper and the original box. The pokewalker is dead thought, and I doubt the battery still exist.

So am I. I still have both the cartridge and the PokeWalker and I’m glad and thankful that I still have both.
As for the PokeWalker, thankfully the battery is actually easy to replace. It uses a CR 2032 3V battery (a battery that is used for some watches). You can find it at any store that sells batteries. Then you just have to unscrew the back and put the new battery in and it should be good as new.
Still blows my mind that it was the most accurate pedometer at the time.

I like their designs more than some of the actual player characters, they’re just so weird it makes them fun, and like @Applejack007 says, they’ve got some good dialog, I just find them a lot more interesting than most other classes, the only other class that beats them out in ‘weird’ are the fairy tale girls

She’s mainly recognized for that Garchomp of hers. But the Spiritomb is her first pokemon that she uses against you in Gen 4,5.

I liked how they made the Fairy Tale Girl trainer class sisters with the Hex Maniacs too. Two creepy cute trainers for the price of one.

Oh yeah, no disagreement there. I like their designs in both the original Gen 3 games and the ones from Gen 6. I prefer the Gen 6 ones a bit more but the witch hats the old ones had was so cute.

I always liked Hex Maniacs. Easily in my top 10 trainer classes.
