Unless the Bibarel has its Hidden Ability, Moody. Then it’s actually kind of amazing, almost broken. Imagine getting +2 in a random stat (and -1 in another) Every. Single. Turn. Even if the battle only lasts 5 turns, that’s still a total of +5 (at the very least!)

The problem is it doesn’t learn Waterfall and Dive. Something that Bibarel can learn. Linoone just has a better ability overall.

Pick up is still better because of the outside of the battle effect.

 
My Capybara Fakemon has Pickup now…I wonder if a new mechanic like the one I’m describing would even be possible. The move slots would now be not the only moves a Pokémon can use but the four they can use in a battle. This would allow HMs to be used without clogging up the move slots of your party members.
 
Maybe you could even switch them out between battles. Route taking too long… Out of flamethrower, no leppa barries go back to Fire Fang.

I don’t know, the “ultimate weapon” says it can restore life…by stealing it from many others, which sounds like it could be either Xerneas (give life) or Yveltal (steal it) powering it.

That would probably be broken. Not that we really use HMs anymore, due to the PokeRide system.

I think the reason for the whole “expanding the sea or land” differs on their target. Archie’s doing the sea for Pokémon, and Maxie’s doing the land for humans.

I can’t believe it took 4 generations for Grass-types to get a move similar (not even identical) in power to Flamethrower/Surf.
 
6 for a special move.

I think I might make my water starter a snake instead of a beaver.

I might also give them Trible tuches. Aboriginal, Native American, Mayen.

I actually miss having and using HMs. :x

I actually kinda don’t, half of my teams often didn’t or wouldn’t have any flyers on them, simply because
 
….I don’t like birds, at least as a general rule. So I was happy I didn’t have to have one at any point in my Moon playthrough

I’m the opposite, I love lots of flying Pokemon, including birds, so I always enjoy having one. I felt a big lost when I realized that Sun/Moon had no HMs. :x

Move over Garchomp, I think the Noibat line is my favorite dragon.

Noibat and Noivern are my favorite dragons. _{^{And I’m still a weirdo who likes Gabite more than Garchomp.}}

I think the Gible line is my personal favorite dragon line, with the Jangmo-o family in a close second

Well my only complaint about HM moves ever since Gen 1 is you can’t get rid of the move. Unless you are in a later Gen.
 
So you are stuck with moves like Flash for a long time.

I’m more fond of Gen 3 and Gen 5’s dragons the best. Druddigon is kinda ugly tho, as is Haxorus, but eh. I ended up using Altaria, Flygon (Shiny, hanks wonder trade!) and Salamence in Alpha Sapphire… I did this same three tier of Dragons in a gen 3 Sapphire run once too.
