My question is, especially for something so minor, why is it just fine for the female characters level all the abuse they want on the male characters but then you have people dealing out over something like this?
Whoopty Doo, Brock hit Misty on the too of the head a couple of times, how many times has she hit or harmed either Brock or Ash?
It is double standards like this that really frustrate me, especially since it can be argued that such can be sexist against both men and women. Sexist to man because it makes them the expendable gender to laugh at when abused and to treat as a monster if they hit a woman and to women because it feeds the idea that women are weak and need protecting.
