Yeah, actually you can cross-dress in animal crossing, and that’s a pretty kid-friendly franchise, and while Nintendo doesn’t own Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons, it’s a mostly Nintendo-centric franchise, you can also cross-dress in those games as well.

Yes I was kind of agreeing with you, it wouldn’t really be out of line in a pokemon game anymore than it was for those games.
I would also like a much more customizable protagonist, a long the lines of height/age among a more varied wardrobe, the seventh gen games had much too little in terms of styles.
