And it seem Lusamine is actually innocent here.

The Ghost Gym leader, Morty was pretty easy with a Hoothoot and a Sandshrew.

So I asked you guys several pages ago if any one of you were into competitive battling. Unsurprisingly to me, a lot of you weren’t. If so, then how does anyone here enjoy the post-main story content? Especially since the majority of it are focused on competitive battling?

I feel like Skarmory has been some forgotten bird that they tucked into gen 2 games as a obligatory Steel type.  
No evolution line, not the best stats, and no Mega-evolution.

Grinding is required for when you want to raise new Pokémon to take on the post-story content and so is breeding.

I think when we say not many of us do competitive, I think they meam that they still do those Battle Arenas a lot, but rarely/don’t battle with other people.

I put the battle facilities in the same category as competitive battling since I can’t find a better way to describe them and that every opponent you face in those places have teams that are prepped up for competitive battling. I use them to train myself for battling real life people but end up mostly failing compared to the battle facilities.

Even though Skarmory is actually one of my favorite Pokemon, I don’t think it really needs an evolution, if only because of how obnoxious Eviolite would make it (it would effectively have a whopping 210 base defense and a respectable 105 special defense). I think the main thing that really hurts it these days is that Celesteela does most of its roles better.

Awesome. I just don’t understand why its not very popular compared to Nuzlockes or other things that involve nuking your save file.

Literally me every time someone says their goodbyes to their save files and their Pokemon they have sentimental value towards just to play Nuzlocke/Non-Evo Challenges.
