There hasn’t been 4 player co-op in a main kirby game since return to dreamland… now I’m really excited! Also what kind or lovecraftian-esque horror do you think is going to be the final boss in this game? [Let’s be honest that’s the only way to describe 85% of kirby’s final bosses. And I’m really hoping that it’s a certain angel like bleeding eyeball of darkness that we haven’t seen in a while.]

It’s more likely a new abomination.
My favorite Kirby final boss has always been the Nightmare Wizard/Cloaked Nightmare. (His animations were pretty impressive on the NES.) I liked how he was also made the main villain in the 2002 anime, and is now an assist in SSB.

Okay I’ll admit nightmare definitely has one of the catchiest final boss themes in the series and I liked how the anime turned him from your typical eldritch abomination (well typical for kirby that is.] Into one of the most chilling and evil villains in Nintendo history.

Does any official source ever state he’s one? I never seen official confirmation of that. (Not even in the anime episode with the “Pengie” enemies.) When I was little I used to think he was a toad, ‘cause he could puff up, and due to his jump attacks. (He also looked a li’l like one in older illustrations.)
I’m not sure if he’s supposed to be anything.

Yeah, he was pretty impressive for NES standards. While his GBA redesign was impressive, and badass the animations, and such didn’t look quite the same as the NES one to me. (Like the way his cloak shined/moved.)

Well he sucks up air like Kirby does when he floats/flies. That’s not what frogs do. Also he looks like a Penguin not a frog like creature like Wart from Mario 2.
