When it’s something universally taboo like child pornography, then yeah, it shouldn’t be made. But when it’s something like a freakin’ outdated line, or a shot of someone’s bare ***, or a girl showing off heavy amounts of cleavage, then it looks more like you’re trying not to offend anyone.
 
Also, yes, creators can be stupid at times. Lauren Faust created “Everyone Knows it’s Bendy,” SpongeBob made “One Course Meal,” and Sega rushed development on Sonic 06 to meet a deadline. But it’s like Warner Bros puts it…

I may prefere so too, but nothing should be censored. Artist should have full right on doing whatever they want, as long as nobody is getting hurt. Because, what ultimately matters, is what people think.

Which brings to the hypocrisy of Steam which has banned multible VNs that don’t show anything, but, Life is Strange 2 features naked underage characters. Why is that still allowed?
 
The Kicker here: people have been banned for pointing it out.
 
So all the talk about “underage” and “Muh children” is just another bullshit excuse used by pro-censorship crowd. The only time they’re not is when it’s something they like and then they rush to those that have been anti-censorship the whole time for help, then imminently stab them in the back again. And let me tell you they weren’t happy about it, but many sat back and laughed. People are now too jaded to care.

I would imagine that Steam initially took an anti-censorship stance. But the same possibly neon-haired employees in their departments complained and they’re forced to quietly back track. All at the same time, like you’ve said, being massive hypocrites about it too.
 
They have no principles. Just like the radical Maoists that tried to destroy the “Four Olds” of traditional Chinese culture. These people forgo conventional sense of morality. They think they’re above morals and principles. Therefore they determine what is right or wrong based on their whims. Constantly moving their goalposts. They are always the “righteous” universal voice of reason.

Quite Frankly censorship itself is hypocritical.
 
I’ve seen quite a few going “I don’t like this; Change it for me and my morals!” They become enraged that another would censor or ban something because of their morals.
 
People who take a pro-censorship rout to anything are pro-authoritarian. They demand art be altered for them and would want laws to do so. They love to abuse systems  
Then when it hits something they approve of, they act surprised when no one fights with them.
 
Censorship is a double-edged sword and these idiots swung it around so much, many are no so numb, they don’t care. They know the second they help them they’re go right back to wanting to ban everything they disapprove of. People now just sit and laugh at them crying about it
 
All they had to do was leave things alone, but they couldn’t. Now they expect people to care about their things facing censorship.
