2) Literally the only people I’ve heard say “essjoo” are HBomberDoofus and the demotivator Tim Blake – and shitlords making fun of the pathetically stupid attempt at appropriating some actual oppression… ;)

“Gay” used to be a nice word but then, it became an insult and went to talking about homosexuals. If this single word can go through all of this, why can’t the word “nigger”?

I live in a society, and use language constructed by that society  
It’s norms and functions are therefore passed down to me  
And due to the social context of the N word(you know, with white people being generally more privileged than others), it’s offensive nature is then passed down to me

Not because it’s offensive, but because it makes you sound like a dick.  
Try estabilishing a relation of respect with the opponent. That way, he can better hear your arguments (and observations), and won’t suffer from fear of losing an argument because he’ll know that you won’t fetishize a potential victory. Plus, it helps with your reputation.
