Yeah, I don’t think so. Plus, given the insane DeepFreeze entry, I don’t think anyone is on a big mission to “Laci Green” Laura K.
 
Speaking of, I genuinely feel bad for Laci. I’ve seen her twitter feed from the last few days and it’s not pretty.

If the media wasn’t so skewed, people probably would have seen them for what they are. Although GG did it’s job of exposing them, I don’t think anyone thinks any of these game journo sites are credible.
 
I wish Deep freeze took held independent game journalists to the same standards though, especially big name ones.

I think it depends on whoever runs/edits Deepfreeze. I see a lot of non-gaming names but there are very few entries on a lot of them.
 
Could be that they’re A-OK.  
Could also be that there isn’t enough public dirt on them to get written up for.

@MooseMcgillycuddy Laura K is a lot like Chloe Sagal, occasional broken clock rightness, but too nutty to stay on one side of any issue. It’s somewhat entertaining to note that both of them have been triggered enough by Wu to threaten suicide. They’re eh, that kind of tumblrina.  
also, like Purple Tinker they once had shitlord streaks so they may accidentally into something poignant or enlightening, but don’t count on it, and the instances of occurrence have shrunk over the years.
 
I didn’t see how it initially unfolded but Laura and Chloe are essentially Wu but actually professionally-diagnosed crazy, not merely pretending to be to get $13000 in patreonbuxxx. The kinda people that think you’re Trixie-judging them if you’re sitting nearby and not saying a word. So it seems like Anita wandered into one of her own side’s “landmine personalities” and Laura’s initial response caused a TERF deluge in that direction.  
A ton of TERFs follow The Sark for some reason, even though she hangs around “mutilated men in dresses” pretty often.  
I think it probably was a result of those two “debates” with Supreme Shitlordess Germaine Greer in early 2015.

History is full of twists, turns, and conditions. What may work in one place may not work in the other. Not to mention that history is sometimes interpretable, which makes your “it cannot lie” statement a bit iffy.

I am aware of both the death tolls of these countries and of the specific conditions that led to them.  
Communism didn’t cause the Holodomor. Stalin did. Communist rhethoric only allowed Stalin to justify his purges of the kulaks.  
Even within Mao’s regime, there were quite a few moderate communists who disagreed with the Great Leap Forward, such as Deng Xiaoping, Zhou Enlai, and Lin Biao. These were the targets of Mao’s Cultural Revolution, which, technically, had the same justifications as the Holodomor – purging the communist state of “bourgeois infiltrators”.  
People need to have a holistic, not manichaeistic, view of history. You seem to have the latter.

I mean, correlation may not be causation, but the correlation still exists. It seems any attempt to apply Marx’s theories in a practical way inevitably results in someone like Stalin (or worse; Trotsky was essentially planning a Communist Empire, while Stalin kept his shit in his borders). Marxist-socialist though doesn’t always result in Stalins. It can sometimes result in labour rights, social democracy, and perhaps even revolutionary socialists doing something for good.  
The reason as to why all revolutionary socialist states seemed tyrannical is because they were under the influence of the USSR and maoist China. The history of revolutionary socialism cannot be detached from these two states, and that does open the can of worms that is McCarthyism.  
I really do not understand the argument-meme of “communism already had its chance”. By this point, the socialists and communists may already have learned a lesson from China and Russia, and may also be aware of how society has changed, and how socialism may be different from before if applied today.

The problem here is that Marx’s proletariat dictatorship and three-step system is still open to heavy interpretation.  
Marx only mentioned that “the proletariat has to take control of the means of production”. He did not mention how they should administer it, and what the means for achieving such control should be.
