I watched 2 episodes Parasyte. I adore the animation of this. That might just be because I’ve come off of watching 20 eps of Rurouni Kenshin and Yu yu hakusho and I’m not used to so much detail in the animation.
 
My friend told me that a parasyte latching onto somewhere other than a head leads to them being weaker. The main character seems to be having an easy time fighting these parasytes though. That’s already ticking me off.

I wrote a neat AU for Little Witch Academia where Diana and Akko’s roles are switched and I’m pretty proud of it.
 
If you have the time, could you go read it a bit? It’s not that long and I really liked it. If you liked, you could reblog it as well.

One small suggestion would be to change Diana’s mom’s last wish to something like “Live more spontaneously than i did” that way Diana’s avoiding her own natural love of learning would make sense as she would see indulging her love of magic as betraying her mom’s last wish, until she meets Akko and her need to be the butch competativeness drives her to surpass her finally getting her to enjoy magic,

Good suggestion. I think I’ll edit that.

I’m actually enjoying Rurouni Kenshin quite a bit. Especially now that most of the major characters have been established and everyone is a unit.

I think that might be because human and parasite are working together, instead of the parasite immediately killing the human and puppet-ing their body?

He almost gets killed 3 times before he actually gets better at fighting. His Parasyte does the heavy lifting.

A flawed or even fragile hero makes for a better story in most cases,

It depends what you mean by fragile.
 
Most heroes in anime are “technically” fragile. But they always make up for their fragility in a way so ridiculous they may as well not be.
 
People try to tell me that Levi on Attack on Titan is “fragile” because he could die in one hit. Yeah, but he’s never going to BE hit. Ever.
