I wish Slow Start wasn’t about Hana. I think it’s other story lines are so much more interesting.
 
Maybe I should read the manga? Maybe the focus on Hana is part of the anime adaptation and the manga spends more time on everyone else?

Why does this masterpiece have only one volume?

I’m kinda conflicted with this FLCL preview. On one hand, it’s so obviously looking to exploit nostalgia, with very similar aesthetics and blatant callbacks. But on the other hand, Clear Card is working. This has a new staff, maybe they could reimagine it in a new, interesting way. Maybe this’ll still work.

FLCL always had it’s hand firmly on it’s check, so any Nostalgia callbacks don’t bother me all that much, hell I wouldn’t be surprised if they straight up called attention to them for a joke.

Hmm, you’re probably right. I dunno why I’m so pessimistic about the new FLCL. Maybe I’m just curbing my expectations.
