Machikado Mazoku ep 8. Momo totally gets it. And I think I get it now, too.
I was wrong. The introduction of the new girl and how Momo dealt with her made me realize that this show doesn’t need to do more, it’s great as it is. It’s not about secret identities, or protecting the world (they
say it’s in danger, but at this point I doubt something will actually happen). The struggle between good and evil is set aside in lieu of dealing with insecurities and responsibilities thrust on you by your lineage. Show’s great. For those who enjoyed GabDrop, I highly recommend it.
Given ep 8. Yuki’s story was tragic, and shows how fragile relationships and people (even confident extroverts) can be. It’s a bit unfortunate that it was told in another “tell, don’t show” flashback.
Kashima and Mafuyu’s confrontation was some good tension. I liked Maufyu acknowledging that he doesn’t understand his own feelings either. (And not just because
I was unclear about his feelings, too. :p) I expect this is setting things up so that Mafuyu will be able to express himself through his music, which I don’t mind at all.
I liked Nakayama and Uenoyama admitting they are in trouble. Honesty has always been this strengths show. And we’re finally seeing Mafuyu show some passion. Hopefully, this all pays off nicely.
Dr. Stone ep 9. I’m sure the flag is supposed to be a rocket, but it sure looks like a dick.
Best ep of this arc so far. I like the direction Senku is going with his plan. I appreciate that the show did not devolve into boys with weapons when it easily could have. The shot of Senku figuratively bringing light to the Stone World was neat. It was also nice to see Senku share that moment with the others.
