Astra, Symphogear, Machikado Mazoku. I take back Granbelm. They weren’t shitty parents, they did their best in an unfortunate situation.

The show established within the ep that the lieutenant can control the firepower in his gun to fire nonlethal rounds. The result is exactly what you expect from a gun-wielding protag except he’s only knocking the bad guys out.
I think it’s lame because it doesn’t add anything. It’s an uncreative way to avoid adding consequences to its characters actions. I like that FF has its heroes fighting humans rather than nameless monsters, but dodging the consequences like that is lame.

Symphogear XV ep 6. See, Symphogear is the symphogeariest because literal boob-missiles aren’t even the craziest part of the ep.
Loved the scene with the Gears around the table, inadvertently hurting each other and just not knowing how to deal with what happened.
I feel like they could’ve done the emotional manipulation angle without using magic. I guess they didn’t want to make the character feel weak, but she (and everyone) was already in a very vulnerable place.
O Maidens ep 6. The club makes an unexpected decision. I do agree with the justification of indulging in normie tastes once in awhile, but I’m not sure if that’s the real reason Sonezaki agreed to do it.
Kazusa’s lack of confidence is very relatable. Niina’s attempt to force things was understandable but I don’t know if this is the right way to go about it, for Kazusa’s sake. Kazusa blowing up was fun, though.
Unsurprisingly, Sonezaki’s relationship has barely started and it’s already showing cracks. This reminds me of BGS, except less supernatural. The guy is seemingly immune to social pressures, while the girl’s actions are dictated almost entirely by social pressures. Unlike BGS, I don’t feel like this is going to have a happy ending.
This “indirect play” that Hongo is doing is so fucking awkward. Whatever gets her (creative) juices flowing, I guess. The goalposts getting moved on her was pretty unfair (and kinda felt like the author airing out grievances, lol) but it’s curious that the show doesn’t dwell on that. It just used it as a springboard to an even more problematic story.

Re:Stage ep 6. Oh, they actually showed some of the competition. Ortensia are solid performers, but not that interesting as characters.
Star Twinkle ep 27. Another fun side quest. I liked that they got dedicated transformation scenes for this ep, even if they were kind of unnecessary. Good message about not being afraid of change.
Aikatsu Friends ep 69. A nice beach ep. Pure filler, but at least it used every second of it well. My only complaint is I don’t really like Aine’s side-ponytail.
Also watched the Girls’ Frontline shorts. They weren’t what I expected, but they were alright.

I really doubt the show will be original enough not to have the tsundere and MC hook up. Probably not on-screen though, even that much will be too original.
I just dig it because she wants the MC’s mom to be her mom. That’s a unique romance flag if I’ve ever seen one.

Oh yeah there was a harem anime about a bunch of people fighting over an apartment. And surprisingly it was pretty good.
