Looks like the translation patch and the game don’t mix. Nevermind, I had it unzipped.

First paralogue done, and it’s weird that a NPC plays the tactician and the player is fighting on the field, especially when said tactician said that they didn’t really do anything. Seems more than a little pointless.

They weren’t, Luke was just telling you that he thinks he should be the leader, and Rody was telling him to not pretend to have everyone voting for him. At most, Luke challenged Kris after Katarina voted for her to see if you’re stronger than him and should be the leader. And where’s Ryan’s parter? Everyone else was in pairs, so where is his partner? Was he included just so they could have Katarina stay out of the fight, even though her being a tactician is pointless in this story and is just there to praise the player character?

Wrys crushing Luke’s dreams of a cute healer made me chuckled.
 
Went with Athena’s chapter since I like cute girls, though a second archer for chip damage may have been a better choice.
 
I’m starting to see why people say this game sucks the avatar’s dick more than an other FE game, and I’m still on the prologues.
 
…That isn’t Elice, is it? It’s hard to tell, but I doubt the woman mocking her brother, the king of the nation, who is acting very differently from her Shadow Dragon self, is an imposter. Wouldn’t it be smarter to say that Marth may be too focused on his ideals and may be blinded to reality like a concerned sister rather than be a straight-up and gossip about him, since I’m guessing that spreading doubt is their intent?
 
Wait, that was meant to be Elice, since she told you to keep him safe if you become a knight? Why was she talking about her brother like Gharnef trying to poison his kingdom? And why tell a random stranger about this? That’s like Lissa telling Robin Chrom’s secrets behind his back before the second chapter.
 
Funny story about my history with FE: for the longest time, I thought that Gordin, Draug and Merric were all brothers since they all had green hair.
 
“You’ve only been here for a few days at most, but if pass a test I have for you, you can by my royal guards!” Wow, that’s a dangerous leap. I mean really, just being #1 among the trainees squads nets you being Marth’s personal guards in less than a month? How has Gharnef not kill Marth by planting assassins as recruits?
 
“Quite a few people seem to secretly lust after Kris too.” I’m starting to feel that Fates’ writing with the Avatar isn’t so bad compared to this.
 
A three star base conversation yields lore and no items? Radiant game, this isn’t.
 
So Katarina is part of the blackmarket? That’s something, I guess.
 
I meant to post this after I beat the prologues. Oh well, I’ll post the rest once I’m done with them.

Chapters being decided if you press “yes” or “no” in a casual conversation is bugging me. Doesn’t help that said questions aren’t even related to the chapters or people in said chapters at all.
 
Luke may be an ass, but he wasn’t wrong about Cecille being violent if that is her reaction.
 
curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal, Katarina! Curse your suspicious inability to fight being a bright red flag and you giving us weapons and units to fight you with when you betray us! Why not even pretend to be a bad tactic and lesson our numbers before now? Worst assassin ever.
 
Also, just to remind you all, if Marth wasn’t a dumbass who allowed new recruits who joined less than a month ago to become his royal guards or allow trainees to roam the castle freely, this wouldn’t have happen.

I forgot how annoy the chapter The Ostian Revolt (chapter 7) was, especially since enemy threat ranges only appears when you have the unit selected. At least I made it pass the (hopefully) worst of it, even if I plan on finishing it tomorrow.

The Ostian Revolt is finally completed, though I took longer than I should have arena abusing.
