I’ll admit I wasn’t the most excited when I saw the trailer for Sponge Out of Water especially since it showed SpongeBob in CGI, but after it cane out I actually liked it as it did do a lot of what made SpongeBob so great back in the old days and at least all the CG stuff was kept just in the last 3rd of the movie.
After seeing Sponge on the Run though I have mixed feelings, being fully CG rendered never looked quite right with SpongeBob, but more importantly the plot is literally the same as “Have You Seen This Snail?” Which I don’t think is a very cinematic level story to tell. Personally I would have prefered whatever It’s a Wonderful Sponge was gonna be.

From a guy that has D+ they at least aren’t editing out scenes from old movies as the first thing he watched was Dumbo and as he said “The crows are still there” BUUUUUUUUUUT~ in the new lady and the tramp movie they removed the Siamese cats, which are a very expensive breed an replaced them with black cats with black voices and wait for it. . . Destroying property.

Frozen 2 turned out to be shit. And I wasn’t so excited about it. Like if the disappointment for the Star Vs The Forces of Evil wasn’t enough already. I’m sorry but I can’t give my trust to them anymore after this (I can still trust Pixar thought, they didn’t let me down in a while, even Toy Story 4 turned out to be a lot better than I expected…)…

It seems to be getting decent enough reviews, the consensus seems to be ‘not quite as good as the first one, but it was still enjoyable’.
For a Disney sequel that’s some legit praise right there. I mean I once watched “Bells Enchanted Christmas” by mistake, and to this day am slightly less able to perceive true happiness.

The trailers made it look so exciting and better than the first, instead we got a mediocre movie that exists only to grab money. They tricked me, they tricked us. I’m not gonna give money to these guys anymore. EVER.
