That’s tough one.

I have to say, I’m super looking forward to the Owl House. Everything about it is wowing me so far, especially the character designs. It kinda feels like what I wanted Star Vs to be.
 
I especially love the two leads.

so i’m watching Amphibia and the comedy is pretty good but i keep feeling like they’re some family guy type dialog here and there, i’m not sure how to describe it.

Because they care more about banking off nostalgia than actually giving attention to new IPs.
 
There is an upcoming original Nicktoon called Glitch Techs but production has been on hold since January and yet we still don’t know anything about when and if it’ll release.

Nostalgia isn’t always a bad thing, I kinda like how Nick is redoing “All That,” with some of the original (now grown-up) cast helping the new kid cast out in skits.

It’s very rare i think a hyper sexed design works super well but between the setting and those damn eyes she rocks that shit,

it was a Joke, Carmine is super freaking hot and the joke was she would kill Women loving women with shear sex appeal, the other was me explaining that i like her design, despite my usual disdain for overly revealing sexed up outfits,

Why hasn’t Disney Channel done their version of What A Cartoon! or Oh Yeah! Cartoons? And I’m not talking about something like Shorty McShorts Shorts. I’m talking about a half hour 3 short format like those shows.
 
Those shows spawned some of CN and Nick’s most successful shows like PowerPuff Girls, Dexter’s Laboratory, and Fairly OddParents. I’m sure Disney Channel could make a hit out of at least one of the shorts. They have access to the best cartoonists in the world, after all.

Any Network doing a new version of those kinda anthology/pilot cartoon shows made by different people would be cool. It’s something the animation industry needs now.

Yes, and I’m looking forward to some of them. My problem is the fact they’re doing it to so dang many of their 90s properties, while simultaneously not caring about new IPs.
 
They can’t just rely on that forever. I mean, once 2010s nostalgia hits full swing, they’ll have basically nothing to revive.

they are making new ip. star vs, Amphibia and that owl house show that’s coming out are all new ip.

Yeah but these networks love to play it safe these days. Daring new stuff is only really gonna be permitted if the runner has already proven themselves.

I was referring to Nick. Disney is doing quite well in original IPs IMO.
 
BTW I didn’t like Star Vs. the show started as it’s own thing but then resorted to riding off trends for popularity’s sake.

Which is Ironic given that Nick was the one that started the Cable Cartoon revolution and created an Alternative to Saturday Morning cartoons just like how He Man killed off Hanna Barbera Clones

That was then. I think now Nick is just focusing on not losing money. That’s a problem all three are facing actually.
