**Species - General descriptions*

There are approximately 20 known types of sapient species throughout the known world, with 7 of them having wings.

Out of the known ones, they all have similar body shapes and body systems. most differences lie on the body extremities, external appearance, reproductive system (four out of the 20 are oviparous, all of them flying), and diet (flying beings tend to be omnivorous while grouned beings tend to be herbivorous, with the major exception to this rule being the omnivorous and grounded parmushi and the flying and herbivorous pegasi).

While reproduction between different species is possible, hybridization isn't - the resulting child is always of the mother's species.
