‘I’m recuperating… Broke my collarbone and three ribs over Easter. Fun times on a dirtbike that had an abrupt ending on the last day. (fortunately! it would really suck to break bones on the first day!)

Taking a class on Water prodution.

I still check in.

I’ve been in an antihistamine haze for three months, because of spring allergies. My dad gave me an awful head cold just before my birthday (first week of June) that’s now trying to turn into a sinus infection. All I have to fight it are my crap immune system, and a bottle of saline spray, until I see a doctor Tuesday. Then in early July, I get to have arthroscopic shoulder surgery, to fix whatever’s wrong with the joint and rotator cuff. It’ll take a few weeks to heal, but I’m hoping it’ll finally allow me to finish moving into my apartment.

Otherwise, not much else to complain about, other than the Adderall XR shortage. 🤪

I share a bit of that disappointment, especially after watching the first movie, and then seeing MYM – the latest ‘season’ is actually a bit better, believe it or not, and the animation has improved, dramatically in some ways.

I think they’ll keep G5 around for another four or five years.

Ah, what a loss, I suppose. Not going to lie, I stopped paying attention to everything after the movie. Not too big on the actual content that spurs the fandom anymore, I think.
We’ll see. Corporations work in mysterious ways. It could die, it could be revived with the good ol’ power of money.

I’m thinking of starting a new thread on this Fanfiction forum.
“The Adventures of Applejack”
AJ, now married to a stallion named Ferric, gets bitten by her wanderlust bug after Ferric moves them to a small, run-down city named Pits-burrow to begin his study in the new technology of the mass production of ‘steel’.
Away from the farm and everything she knows and loves, AJ struggles to find happiness in this unexpected turn Ferric has taken. With his education and job taking all of his time, and AJ being miserable in their tiny apartment, her going on an adventure might be the thing to save their marriage… But separation and distance are strong influences. Will AJ want to come back after Ferric finishes his studies and begins making his fortune in Steel, or will she decide to go her own way?

Yeah, Ferric is basically getting in with the pony version of Andrew Carnegie. I figure MLP is about 1900 tech level.
Some tech is stunted due to Magic and a generally peaceful society/foreign relations.

Well, tons! The industrialization of the world was a massive change around the entire globe, leading to the creation of the middle class, strife, social justice, and more. You could read on any literature of the time and find numerous ideas. Not to mention the disparity between countries that didn’t or couldn’t industrialize, or the fact that the creation of corporations drove families apart.

Give me anything, really, I can tell you about it.

I had the first chapter written, (somewhere) but I can’t find it!
I did find the flashdrives I thought it might be on, but no luck.
Not on Google.docs, FimFiction, or PC Drive….
