The Mane Five are on the run. After getting out of a temple, most of the Mane Five rest except for Hitch and Sunny. They reminisce about all they have been going through. This journey Hitch never expected he would make.

And how Hitch and Sunny have to watch over the other three.

They start to feel like parents of a family, the Mane Five bonding even in adversity.

Sunny and Hitch embrace each other not quite telling their feelings yet but still embracing the quest for a better world.

An AU where harmony has still not been restored and its the Mane Five as fugitives against the world making allies and going into ancient temples to restore Equestria

Little Fluttershy learns for the first time how to take care of animals.

It was hard at first but then she remembered her little brother. And she used the techniques with her brother on the animals.

I love an AU if G5 was more of an Atla tyoe story of wandering the world and settling in far away lands. That’s what I wish G5 was more like but I’m fine with that.

I also love Sunny and Hitch as not just a couple but almost like mom and dad of the family of the Mane Five kind of like Mr Fantastic and Ms Invisible. A found family to save the world.

My G4 AU ideas

Rarity is the epitome of rags to riches. She also had some former connections with criminal gangs. She is a good spy and good at thievery. Rarity came from a poor family in Fillydelphia and when Rarity moved to Ponyville she swore she would make something of herself.

Twilight comes from a moderately wealthy aristocratic family who has a cousin named Shining Armor. Her foalsitter Cadance is also her mentor. Twilight’s cynical reswrved law abiding persona is in complete contrast with Cadances optimism and sometimes sneakiness.

Cadance always tries to get Twilight to open up and she is one of the only ones Twilight opens up to to some extent. Cadance is a very moderate and pleasent pony to be around. Although she does like to tell some annoying lewd jokes from time to time.

Pinkie is the heart of the group. She is not just the Element of Laughter but of Joy and Hope. She is the youngest at only 19 but is also the most hopeful and optimistic and encourages others to go beyond.

Not exactly, but the rent will be higher with a hotel once all red spaces are collected.

And you could have Chrysalis watch too.

I wonder if Rainbow Dash kept her G3 personality and was the Rarity of G4.
I think she would have used the colors she saw to make intricate and beautiful clothes with various hues.
Maybe her ability would be do detect colors not easily percievable by common ponies.

On another note Rarity could be tetrachromat meaning she is able to detect more colors than the average pony. She would be able to detect as many colors as a butterfly or a mantis shrimp could.

Rarity could be used in situations like detective situations to see differences in say shades of green to solve a mystery.

Rarity is an artist but also a great detective. (Some even wonder if she was a former spy, assassin or part of the mafia when she was younger.)

Unique, though unusual.

People confuse Rarity for being British on July 4th. Even her friends tease her about being British.

Rarity is not amused. And she gives a speech about why she is true American. Who believes in the American Dream of succeeding and bettering yourself. And how just because she speaks in a “British” (Mid Atlantic accent she corrects them) accent or she does not care for hot dogs and prefers caviar does not mean she is not American.

I like the idea that Rarity is actually very patriotic and even moreso than Applejack.
