The first one is called
“Invasion of Nightmares”
When Spike is severely punished for something he didn’t do, he discovers that he possessed a powerful and very dangerous ability. The ability to access the dimension of nightmares, and unleash all of it’s creatures onto Equestria.
However, Spike soon realizes that they were only trying to protect him, for his actions they punished him for would have killed him. Without telling the nightmare-ish creatures, he learns of a rare jewel said to create an impenetrable barrier between Equus and the dimension of nightmares. He tricks the creatures into retrieving the jewel, claiming that he wanted to destroy it, preventing the creatures from being separated from Equestria forever.
When Spike gets it, he reveals his true plan to the creatures and activates the jewel’s power, opening a portal back to the dimension of nightmares and sending the creatures back through
