What is acceptable non-MLP upload?

I’ve tried uploading two mute webm clips of moments from The Last Unicorn movie, and they’ve already been erased.  
For offsite reference:

I made the assumption that any equine related media would be okay to upload,  
because this one is still posted:  

 
The only difference here is the source material,  
otherwise both are equine animated media that has nothing directly to do with MLP.  
Is it because Ico’s ponies look more similar to MLP, or what?

It’s… very loose, tbh.
 
Ico’s horses look fairly close to how a lot of people in the fandom draw ponies, probably why no one really reported it or even realized it predated MLP and wasn’t someone’s OC.
 
I’m in favour of allowing stuff that looks fairly MLP-like or is based on MLP. As for Last Unicorn, I really can’t say, and having no experience with it am uncomfortable being the judge of it. Personally I’d be fine with it; I don’t foresee the booru getting taken over by non-MLP horsies anytime soon.

I think it’s fine, personally. I’d say a good frame of reference would be if said cartoon (or toy) horse is cartoony and colorful or magical, and came out after 1982, it’s probably at least tangentally riding off MLP’s success or target audience. So like, I’d say yes to Thee last Unicorn, no to something like Spirit Riding Free. Magical unicorn versus horsey horse with eyebrows.

I’d say the Ico cartoon is obviously inspired by MLP, therefore loosely mlp related enough in my books. I’m not sure about the Last Unicorn one though, that would be a stretch. But then again, it IS a beautiful cartoon, I don’t think anyone would be mad about having screens or art of it. Unless it’s a flood, but I don’t see that happening.

I actually tried doing so a few years ago too, and quickly found out that it wasn’t acceptable.  
I’m glad there’s flexibility about magical and/or mlp-like equine stuff,  
so it’s good the Ico webm stayed too.  
Also, The Last Unicorn movie came out in late November 1982!
