Is there a way to merge tumblr images in single post?

As per subject, there are many tumblr “ask” type blogs that use question and answer image as separate images.
Is there a way to merge them?

Not automatically, that I’m aware of. I’ve always just used Inkscape to manually merge panels, as its canvas makes it really easy to move things around, scale, and snap to position.

Could also use GIMP or literally any image editor. Indeed Inkscape’s snapping does make things super simple.

I used to use the Multiple Image Combiner website a long time ago but idk if it still works since I started doing it myself in Photoshop (also haven’t uploaded any comics/asks in quite a while).

Inkscape solution worked!
What about animated images?

Unfortunately no great solution for those.

GIMP (and others) can be used to merge all images together with some patience and export as a GIF, but everything loses a lot of quality.

What I used to do is stitch a non animated version together and upload that and the animated frames separately, and link them to each other in the descriptions

Thank you, I thought about the same workaround uploading animated and still images in separate uploads, then linking in description.
