"Wheelpone" and the "original species" implication

Since these are a thing now:  

 
Does this mean “wheelpone” no longer counts as “original species?” I’m cool either way; just curious, is all.

It’s like the Rabbit Out Of The Hat scene in “Twilight Zone - The Movie”.

I say leave the “original species” tag, it was ours before it was hasbro’s!!!!

doesn’t matter either way. but in any case, I agree with Armadillo, I see no reason to remove it, maybe a compromise with keeping it from the official pony toys would be good.

Like my thing. I’m definitely not saying I wouldn’t draw them if they weren’t “original species” (I don’t let a tag be the boss of me XD), but I just want to know before I tag or touch said tags :P
