Tag history: Over 56 THOUSAND edits on a few images???

I saw the number and I paused in shock. No simple tagging war would go on for that long without mod intervention. Was there a bot invasion 2 months ago? Or a site glitch that added every tag on this site?

It was the work of a tag vandal. We ban people who do those kinds of things, but sometimes they find ways to ban evade.
