Wondering if Mobian should be a species tag or maybe a gray tag like the flavors of “anthro”.

From my understanding, it’s a blanket term for the anthro characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog series regardless of species (i.e. Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles the Echidna, and Vector the Crocodile are all Mobians). It used to be an official term from the American canon, but now it’s the fandom keeping the term alive since Sega of Japan won’t acknowledge Mobians or Planet Mobius. And here on Derpi it also applies to MLP characters drawn in Sonic style, like >>3046865 or >>3072477.

Speaking of which, sonicified ought to imply Mobian.

And what of the tag Thracian? These are a subset of ponies in the Feats of Friendship comics, a fourth tribe of ponies separate from the Earth Ponies, Pegasi, and Unicorns, who were not part of the Equestrian founding, and loathe friendship. In the comic, one young Thracian named Swift Foot is sent to undermine the Young Six’s friendship.
I started that tag a while back, and I realize that just like other pony subsets like Crystal Pony or Saddle Arabian, maybe it should be a species tag too.

Why cyclops pony is a character tag? Shouldn’t it be species tag?

Also I think it should imply cyclops.
