I requested an update for the canon x oc ship tag name (at a time of writing it, someone removed ship:pinkieace tag from a few of images with old pinkieplay tag)

Can I request the update of OC:Ace Play and Pinkie Pie ship name, basically making ship:pinkieace the new tag name for this ship, while pinkieplay becoming an alias of the new tag?
While also keeping the description and tags implied

Personally speaking, I’d guess it’s not a lot of work for this “bottom priority” thread. The problem is all the unnecessary (less than 10 images in any given tag) requests for things like crack ships on top of needing to do the other work on the site.

There was a push a while back to switch the former arbitrarily chosen names of a lot of the G5 shipping tags with names people in the fandom were actually using. I don’t actually think petalstorm was one that was brought up in that thread, but it was the name being used among other fans - Moving to the ship: prefix gave us the opportunity to set the more recognized terms.
