This is a messy one, so I apologise in advance:
artist:adamkooper is tagged on two images, including
>>1598414, which shares two artists. The other is
artist:a&k, who is credited to another image of the same character in the same style,
>>1600125. Given the similarities of the names (A(dam)&K(ooper)), it is possible this artist decided to rebrand themselves at this point. The uploader of all three images is also named
A&k, and no sources were given, suggesting they are one and the same.
The only outlier to this formula is
>>612338, which is also tagged with
artist:a&k. Checking
the source, the artists are “A. Stiffler & K. Copeland” (signed A&K), which would make it seem like mistaken identity, EXCEPT that that image is an edit, potentially BY
A&k. (To be clear, this artist and the comic artist are not the name person/people, based on skill level.)
artist:synch-anon is also credited on that piece as an artist, and while they are potentially connected to the comic, it seems more likely that they were the editor. If these theories are correct, there are two artists being tagged as
artist:a&k.
The question here is whether the three-image uploader should keep their newest of two names (and be linked to the aliased artist tags), or if the edited comic should be re-attributed. The comic does, after all, say “by A&K” on it.
