Not sure which way this one should go. The Alina tag was used for a long time, but someone has been intent on changing them to the Lazuli tag. The pages don’t link to each other, but it’s clear that they’re the same artist.

Before Lazuli, the username on YCH.commishes was Cookie_Flaff, a variation of which is already an alias of

I think the DA username is just stuck there, and that Lazuli is meant to be the current name.

Wow, that was a rabbit hole. I found even more aliases for them trying to work through the sources. Here’s what I ended up doing:
artist:sinker-ball -> artist:sukusuku -> artist:すくすく -> artist:ねっつー -> artist:nyankamedon
artist:nyankamedon is their current Twitter, so hopefully that will be the most recent and most accessible for most users.

A few months ago I spent quite a bit of time with the artist getting their profile, including their artist tags and their user links, exactly as they would like it. And for now, the User Link that they have verified here is the only one that they want this site to point to. My impression from that is that adding these links back in as systematic links or as links that would show up in their artist tag are not something that the artist would like.
People can find them through the links that are available as they are, without pushing all of their other art into people’s faces or advertising those other galleries, and that is what the artist would like.

This is the human name of the same pony. The tag does not exist, but her website (with pony fanfiction prominently featured on frontpage) confusingly has some pages credited to “Jennifer Diane Reitz”, some to “Chatoyance” and some to both names. She does not use different names to distinguish different types of content, and some of her fanfics have included artwork which may be uploaded to derpibooru in the future. It makes sense to create this alias proactively.

@TexasUberAlles - Eh, it’s ok. You should see all the names and domains I’ve used. I used to create a new pseudonym and a new name for each new project.
Granted, I used to work at an InterNIC so creating a new name was both free and just a few keystrokes, so the temptation to spawn off new entities was both free, and easy. Nowadays folks have to actually pay for it, so … no complaints from me.

A few artists tags I posted here a few months ago, I think they might have been overlookedYes, there were several aliases that were simply impossible to complete during the the time when BooruOnRails was being modified for public release, and the migration to Philomena. Now that we’re on Philomena I’m going back through and auditing the last few months of aliasing to make sure that everything worked as expected, and to make sure that nothing was missed.
Was this one overlooked?During the finalization of the public release of BooruOnRails and the migration to Philomena aliasing became really hard to do, and sometimes it was simply impossible. So there’s about 2 months worth of “Some worked, some failed, some were impossible to complete”. I’m working back through them to audit all of the requests that were made between October and January to make sure they all worked and to catch any that were skipped.

Ah, OK. For some reason I thought that was already finished.No, I’ve been trying to get through it, but there’s been a lot of other stuff that takes precedence. I actually finished the last of those other things today though, so this weekend I hope to get some real progress through the audit of the aliasing.
