As I understand it, breastfeeding can be even up to ‘safe’ if little-to-nothing is visible, but I think the nipple puts it over.

No, the gray beads are in front of the yellow beads, which are in front of the areola. It might be questionable.

Actually that is an areola. Look at the image at full res, the gray part in question feathers off, which is very different from the hard lines of the beads, plus it’s too far away from the strand of gray beads.
 
If you’re still uncertain, someone could always ask the artist.

Though I think the point of contention is more about whether the little blur of areola is worth the higher tag.

I don’t think it is do to it being extremely unnoticeable… Unless you’re actually looking at it.

I find those screencaps strange points of comparison. Aside from attempting to be ‘creepy’, there really isn’t any similarities between the three, and the artwork is certainly on a different level of “dark” than the screencaps imo…

Look, I have been up for about a day now, so I might be having trouble writing things down properly.
 
The best I can describe it right now is that that seems like Stygian’s abilities presented in the show.

Even still I’d put the way he’s being corrupted, including both the mood of the image and shadow goo leaking from his eyes, higher than that.
 
It’s nothing insane, but seeing this as a “mildy dark” situation, as said under the ‘semi-grimdark’ tag description, I think it makes sense to keep it.  
I’m not a fan of the ‘downrating’ images have seemed to get a lot more of recently when the purpose of the higher tags is to contain them

As for the way he’s being corrupted, isn’t it the same as the show itself had it? I remember him coming out of the Pony of Shadows with pieces of darkness stuck in him.
