Question about implied tags

So… in short, I noticed that when an implied tag is added, it doesn’t update all the images already containing the tag. Is there a reason for this? I used to think it was automatic, but I can see that it’s not.

it’s not retroactive, plus in some cases it would be in error, as implications are sometimes only 90 percent correct. That being said, depending on what it is, some things can be fixed very quickly by a mod!

Because there are too many cases where the implication isn’t valid.
 
Take flutterdash implying lesbian; it’d mass tag all the r63 and futa stuff incorrectly as lesbian, while most of those images likely already correctly had the from normal user tagging.

Yeah, this too, implications are not always 100 precise, but they are in most cases, being automatic would fuck up a lot of manual work that has been done previously.

Oh, I thought it was 100% right. It’s too bad there are no perfect tagging systems, but I think you guys are pretty close.
