Not sure if someone would make the argument, but in case it happens: expansion does equal growth, but growth doesn’t always equal expansion.

Fold the two tags? Seems like a much simpler solution.

I would argue that they are not equal in either direction. For example, one might grow a totally new body part, and one’s body part may expand (such as by inflation) with no new flesh generated.

You also have a more recent thread on this topic and I was going to make a huge exhaustive reply about it but got overwhelmed and it’s still sitting half-done in my text editor. :\

I just didn’t bother editing the OP. 2nd post is my current stance on the matter and makes more sense to do.
Other thread was multiple tag alias focused while this one was [initially] one specific implication across multiple tags.

As for the other thread, you did make me reconsider what should be minimally requested without hassle.
