“i’m not gay” -> “not gay”
When considering that “i’m not cute” exists for when someone says along the lines of “I’m not cute !”, but the gay equivalent is “not gay”, it’s both inconsistent and confusing, the latter in particular, due to being deceptively ambiguous.
Seeing as “not gay” already has uploads like
where the topping pony is a trap who says “It’s not gay if they look female”, renaming is outta the question, but aliasing “i’m not gay” to “not gay” would at least help using the correct one.
^ Still, I’m of the opinion that “i’m not gay” should exist for when someone says along the lines of “I’m not gay !”, just like “I’m not cute !”, and “not gay” for when the gay status is challenged somehow (usually in a humorous way), separate from the already in use “ur gay” in
