'jail' should maybe be aliased with 'prison'

Ah? I’m unfamiliar with the distinction, I’m afraid.

Jail is where the police takes you to be temporarily held when you’re arrested. Prison is where you go after you’ve been convicted in court and sentenced to imprisonment. Is the distinction up here.

I too didn’t know about the difference Solitude. I don’t know if the way those two tags are used reflects that difference either.

True. They do seem to be used interchangeably. Not to mention it can be hard to tell if an artist intended the bars the character is behind to be a Prison or a Jail~
 
I’d be in favor of Aliasing them. Even though it’s not technically correct. They’re currently being used for both interchangeably, and I feel the distinction between them is small enough to not make a difference in artwork.  
Unless you feel there could be an issue with someone drawing a character in Jail, and it’s tagged Prison instead.

I think it not being clear which is which is the biggest issue with these tags. Or if the people tagging them are aware of it. Though I can’t decide whether it might be better to alias them or attempt some form of cleanup.
