If you meant some other kind of “everything else” you will have to repeat what it is that you were asking for, because I think I took care of “everything else”.

What’s the raison d’etre of the tag pixiv? Among platform tags, it’s so prolifically applied (2nd only to Tumblr) it must be important.
 
Also, the tag deviantart needs cleanup, from what I can see all but 3 of the submissions on the most recent page of results are using it in the ways directly stated to not use it in the tag’s description.

Pixiv is very informative. For me, at least. It indicates that the source is almost certainly not English and that it very well may lead to a web page that has content that, outside of Japan, may be problematic.
 
Also the content that we receive from Pixiv tends to have different presentations, such as pages of alternative versions or characters that are more in an Anime or Manga style, simply because of the requirements of getting an account on Pixiv itself.
 
It’s like letting people know that the source is Patreon - if you don’t want to deal with the probability of a paywall or a requirement to log in to see the source, or you don’t like foreign language images or foreign language sites, or images created by people who post on Pixiv, then you can filter the tag. And if you do want to see what kind of art is here from Pixiv, it’s a convenient way to search for it.

To be fair, a lot of the non-ecchi Pixiv images are also posted elsewhere, especially on Twitter.

Unless they’ve changed it since they applied the Mandatory Censorship Bars rule with their last big site update, the only requirement to get an account is a valid email address.

Oh, when I joined you had to fill out a form in Japanese only and explain why you wanted an account, and you had to have a verifiable online gallery of copyrightable images. I guess that has changed.

In regards to the first one, I noticed that you were having trouble with aliases, so I hope that helps.
 
Also, like I said, as it says on the Wikipedia page, what Witchiepoo flies is called the vroom broom, not the broombroom, making the alias you made, much like the original tag, incorrect.

You’re looking at the alias direction(s) wrong; it turns a typed “broombroom” into “vroom broom”. So the alias is correct.

Do fillies/colts presented in suggestive poses still qualify for foalcon tag?

I sense that you do not understand what aliasing is or what it does on this site.
 
If there are two tags, both which mean the same thing, but one of them is “more correct”, the “less correct” tag is “aliased into” the more correct tag.
 
The surviving tag is “vroom broom”. The less correct tag was aliased into “vroom broom”. Both still work, but “vroom broom” is the canonical tag and if you type the wrong tag you still will get the right results.
 
And with “fanfic:the lost element” I assume that someone tagged the fanfic without the “fanfic:” preface, so those older “the lost element” tags were aliased into the canonical tag. The “fanfic:” nomenclature is a fairly recent add to the site, so I am guessing there are a lot of “fanfic:*” tags with aliases on them.

Yes - the alias means that no matter which tag you type, you get the right one.

That’s what I was guessing, but because Pixiv has become less JP-exclusive (it’s been English-localized for quite a while and even shows curated tag translations, not machine translations - big differences vs. a decade ago or so) and because searching/filtering on the source field is a thing (was that not doable in Derpi’s first few years?), that purpose for the tag is IMO obsolete. I guess, for the sake of peoples’ filters, it needs to keep getting used the same way, instead of converting to be like deviantart and signify only depictions/references to the platform. (Not like that’s been used well, either.)

…either I’m misreading this document, or they’ve not correctly translated it to English, or else it seems to simultaneously require use of age-restriction levels and also prohibits any content that would necessitate the use of age-restrictions… But, that’s getting off-topic here.

I think the pixiv tag might have more practical utility if it were pixiv only and got removed from images which get hosted elsewhere, but that seems like kind of a lot of effort for marginal improvement given how often artists post stuff first on one platform and then later on others.  
I used to and give up when I saw the tag on an image I wanted to reblog on Tumblr until I started searching for artist names and realized a lot of artists are multi-posting to Tumblr/Twitter/DA with links to their other site presences.

All I know is that a lot of R-18 images all of a sudden stared showing up with censor bars, and a lot of artists started posting “uncensored on FurAffinity/e621/Baraag/Pawoo”,etc. links or just abandoning Pixiv entirely. Seems to have happened right around the same time Patreon kicked porn artists out?

Should images with Pony Life Ponies get chibi added? They are, objectively, chibi character designs.

I don’t see why not.

I mean, pony life has over 2000 images so far and I still haven’t found time to add cloven hooves to all the Kirin images, so I won’t be the one to add it.
