Is there a general tag for this camera angle?
General Tag Discussion
Hm…
How would the
pegacorn
and winged unicorn
tags be treated? The first may likely be the obvious (but then alicorn
covers both bat wings and pegasus wings), but the latter can be much more broad in definition. Background Pony #52BA

Several of the posts tagged “winged unicorn” look just like whoever did the tagging didn’t know about the tag “alicorn” (ie. it’s Celestia or Luna) and ironically several of them appear to be wingless anthros (although without the tag “wingless anthro”)

What even is a pegacorn? Is this some kind of “You are on this council, but we do not grant you the rank of master” situation where an alicorn is extra-special?
@Background Pony #52BA
As far as I know, a pegacorn is as its name implies a fusion between pegasus and a unicorn (making it a type of alicorn, as normal bat ponies don’t count as pegasi while horned bat ponies count as alicorns).

Lore-wise, an alicorn is a combination of earth pony, pegasus, and unicorn, each of which has its own unique magical abilities. “Winged unicorn” (aka “pegacorn”) I’ve always understood to mean a pony that has the pegasus and unicorn parts but not earth pony - I want to say I’ve seen some OCs that were meant to be this. They’re distinct from alicorns but may look visually identical more often than not.

tags like patreon link
, twitter link
and co. They duplicate information from links section and eventually will be out-of-sync with it. Doing tag consistency checks on this is no fun at all and does not provide any meaningful information. My proposed solution:
- Delete most(if not all) of these tags.
- (optional) At query time expand deleted tags into
source_url:
queries.
Since we have
fleur-de-lis
for character name tag, do we have fleur-de-lis for it’s actual symbol (⚜️) tag too?Merge “artist:stardust-pony” with “artist:sush-adopts”

Is
anatomically correct udders
different in some way from accurately size crotchboobs

Is limited color the same as partial color? It seems similar to me.

Initially read

limited color
as limited palette, a tag that actually is distinct from partial color
.As they’re actually used I would say they’re pretty much the same.

It would be, if it were actually tagged on pictures with udders (which are not the same as crotchboobs). However, it isn’t, and every case of it being used was by the same person, so I don’t think the tag has any reason to exist at the moment.

For a while, when G5 came out and was itself 3D, I wondered if 2D might have a use to distinguish (official?) G5 media that wasn’t 3D. Or, yeah, if the image is mixed media. Otherwise, it seems unneeded because you can do “-3d”.

There have been episodes with different endings you could choose from.
Unfortunately, YouTube broke them.

@Wildcard71
Do they serve a purpose distinct from the subsets each episode has that encompass those endings?

Interesting, thanks.
Interesting, thanks.
So I discovered something of a nightmare. there’s this artist named furrysale, I guess who is offering to modify existing mass-produced Pony plushies to make them explicit. You can see some of their “works”.
I recognized the Celestia as that Symbiote Studios one.
>>3550167
At least where tagging is concerned though, he’s only showing the images of the plushies as they already are. but I’m really tempted to remove that artist tag of theirs altogether on those.

Yeah, that artist always messing around with the tags that I have to make it up

It seems to be a less specific version of horse udder, which was my attempt to establish a tag for both species-accurate and realistically-sized equine udders. Sadly, they are quite rare, and I didn’t have it in me to systematically look for potential images to populate the tag with.

As for anatomically correct udders, at least some of the contents feature what I’d tag reasonably sized crotchboobs instead, as they feature distinctly human stuff, most importantly the nipples differentiating in both shade (distinct areola) and less importantly a semi-spherical profile and (near) circular connection.
Btw one animal has one udder, and tag names should reflect that as our main “udder” tag does.
