art meme is for tags for artists to draw certain things like specific sex faces (“ahego meme”) (yes it needs a cleanup) or specific outfit types (“wardrobe meme”)

No, I mean things like sailor moon redraw meme, medium support, girl staring at guy’s chest, servants holding aphrodite’s breasts, yamcha’s death pose, and a great many other trends among artists (not only pony) to make parodies of specific images. They differ from artists parodying memes or other media in general in that they tend to rapidly gain popularity and spread as a wave, rather than being something just enduringly cultural that comes up without being part of any kind of trend.

no, it looks like a perfectly useless tag that only a couple of BGPs have added. The only time a staff member added it was an automated tag reversal vandalism clean-up.

Alright I figured I’d ask just to be safe. I’ve seen so many of these damn images of a bunch of girls with a guy that are tagged lesbian because I guess them being on screen together is enough for some people.

The main tag name for floaties is water wings. The problem is that literal water wings also exist and get bunched up in the same tag.

Yep, there are water <body part> tags.
I see that you removed water legs from two images. On one, only the wings, rear legs and horn are visibly made out of water. On another, only the legs and belly are. IMHO this tag was fitting.
You also removed water mane/water tail from several images, but on two of them only mane and tail were visibly made of water. So again, I think they were fitting.

the images I removed them from were also tagged water pony which I believe negates the need for seperate water <body part> tags.
plus, water legs wasn’t exactly unified, as there was also a water socks tag which carried the same meaning, as it was used on 4 instances of an OC with water legs. I went and changed those to water legs
ironically, both tags were created by the same user

I went and added watery wings as opposed to wings of water, just to be consistant with the fact that wings of fire currently aliases to fiery wings

TBH it’s like not tagging “open smile” because “smile” is already tagged. Or like not tagging “curved horn” because “unicorn” is already tagged.

Should there a tag to differentiate between “generic robotic counterpart of Sweetie Belle” and “Friendship is Witchcraft Sweetie Belle”?
Because the entire Mane Six and CMC as a whole also have their own robotic counterpart tags (which as far as I know have no real involvement in any fanmade series), and I can see that any imagery more clearly containing the version from Friendship is Witchcraft seems to not usually be tagged with the friendship is witchcraft tag.

Hell no, the dad could be a cuntboy after the kid’s birth, for ex, just like a futa mom probly was female before, or via other stuff, but he’s still your dad and she’s your mom; hell, a futa sister is still a sister and a cuntboy brother is still a brother.

that’s why I was on the fence there, although parent and child would need to be on the end of a lot of implications if it were ever to become as mainstream as the gendered permutations.
I also noticed that over the years, some users made some in-law versions of some permutations of parent/child and grandparent/grandchild. most of them have usages in the single-digits. should some of those be merged into in-laws or something to simplify something that’s overly specific?

sure, but the list of in-law permutations of duos brings up another possible complication if you look carefully, as there was a tag called brother and sister-in-law and its tag history shows that it was removed in favor of brother-in-law and sister-in-law:
  • should the other tags have -in-law added to the first relative in the tags, resulting in ridiculously long tag names for duo in-law relationships?
  • should it be changed back to the shorter-but-still-kind-of-long brother and sister-in-law?
  • should we ignore it and potentially have more than one tag for each possible in-law relationship?
that’s why I suggested the in-laws route, and simply use combinations of the shorter, seperate tags (mother-in-law, son-in-law, brother-in-law etc.) when it comes to in-law relationships
