People who go to these tags are already under the implication that the characters involved are in a relationship, so having tags made to say that the characters are a gay/leabian couple is really redundant

I miss the show so much

I can’t report a tag, or tag change history, so I’ll try doing it this way.

The shipping tag ship:combow is under a tag fight between BPs and non-BPs and it’s been going on for about 5 days now. A BP (or BPs?) remove the tag, and registered users put it back. Repeat.

I don’t know about the ship, but this kind of tag fighting can’t go on.

What would the tag be for a conveniently placed object be? I’m thinking about it in regards to a character being explicitly nude, but luckily there’s an item in the way covering anything naughty. I couldn’t conjure up anything that I could find being actively used in the tag search.

I need some clearing up with the Adopted Offspring tag

Most of the images under that tag refer to canon characters adopting a fan made oc as their child, however im also seeing the tag being used for when a canon character adopts ANOTHER canon character as their child (EG like the recent images of Rainbow’s parents adopting Scootaloo as their own daughter)

Should the tag be used for examples like too, oit should it just stick towards oc characters being adopted like the majority of the “offspring” related tags?

Definitely. scootadopt already exists, but it’s hardly the only such case, and it would be useful to codify the concept.

What is the relation between dot eyes and beady eyes? Is there a difference or should they be aliased?

Second question: does beady eyes apply when eyes are closed? I assume yes, but wanted to check just in case.

dot eyes (literally just a solid dot, does not have to be circular, may have a tiny bit of eyelashes):

beady eyes (eyes without sclera or pupil, but still have catchlights to appear rounded and shiny):

I see many posts that are currently tagged “beady eyes” that I would say are wrong; some are “dot eyes”, some are uncertain other style (skin-colored sclera within defined eye outline, dot-like but outlined, larger than a dot usually is considered)

It has been suggested to merge them before, but Princess Luna felt they were distinct.

I don’t know how you’d tell if a closed eye is a beady eye?

This type of eye seems to be somewhat common.

I don’t know how you’d tell if a closed eye is a beady eye?

The eye is more of a shaped blob than the usual line. Examples:

Though looking at it again, while distinct, it’s not really obvious. Perhaps more obvious when you have seen other related images and they do have beady eyes.

Although i do believe these are all the same person, don’t know how useful aliasing all of those tags would be, since they keep changing names, plus i don’t know which one should be the primary tag..

You could … or someone could … begin sorting those through the Artist Aliasing thread. A few at a time though please - there’s already a giant list in one post there that I’ve been working.

But, that might be a way to resolve it, if someone wanted to go through those and match sources (where available) or upload date ranges … clues like that.

If you mention that they’re from this list, I’ll make sure to check IPs and FPs to try to line up uploaders to see if they’re common.

plus i don’t know which one should be the primary tag

We could make a new tag for them - “The Artist Of A Million Aliases”.
