I’m not positive, but I think I see the raw, square end of Fluttershy’s mane that’s supposed to say hidden behind her head or ear. If that’s not it, then I’m stumped.

Yeh, Fluttershy’s forelock is off kilter and also clipping in front of the ear.

Shouldn’t an official pony character take tag name precedence over a character from another bloody franchise?

Yes! Change one to “Little Mac (Punch-Out!! )” Or if that’s too complicated, just “Little Mac (Punch-Out)”.

Agreed. MLP characters should get the “default” tags; other works’ characters should get the parentheticals.

The unfortunate thing here is that when most people hear “Little Mac”, they think of the Nintendo character. The brand new, only-in-the-final-episode-of-the-series character with the same name is way less known. So most people searching for “Little Mac” are probably looking for the Nintendo character. That’s the only counterargument I could think of.

Still, this IS an MLP site, so I think that even a one-off finale character is higher priority than one from some nintendo game.
 
Also the number of images is pretty comparably similar, sure the latter has more, but not like a huge amount difference. If anyone comes to this site looking for short boxer human and gets upset that they see small purple colt, then the issue is them.

Just to clarify, images of a semi-anthro character shouldn’t be tagged pony, right?

In either decision, they should point to one another in the description. Similar to little mac’s description for the FO:E weapon.
